Dont Fret, an artist born and raised in Wicker Park, is known for his wheat pasting, drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, and installation-based work both on the street and in the gallery.
Works include large-scale public murals in American cities, including Chicago, NYC, Miami, San Francisco, Grand Rapids, and Denver, as well as internationally in cities like Sao Paulo, London, and Helsinki.
Galleries include Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and London.
Dont Fret’s work was featured prominently in the Netflix original series “Easy.”
In 2020 he was commissioned by the City of Chicago to complete a public wall of 55 portraits on the Chicago Riverwalk entitled “The People In Your Neighborhood.”
